I’m Jolien Rietkerk
Nice to meet you! As a postdoctoral researcher I work on trans-ancestry psychiatric genetics of psychiatric disorders. I am part of the POP-GEM lab and hosted by the van Loo lab.
In my research I use representative population-scale datasets to study the genetic architecture of psychiatric disorders. I implement, develop and combine novel statistical genetics tools in my quest to understand the biology of cognition.

My trip to WCPG 2026 in Glasgow was a fantastic mix of new scientific ideas and reconnecting with my colleagues and friends.
