Annual DINI retreat was a success!

DINI or the Doctoral INItiative from Helmholz Munich does all things related to Doctoral researchers interests. We represent them within the institute, towards local universities and to all Helmholtz Centers in Germany. We also organise monthly socials and connect researchers within the institute.

Every year, the members of DINI will go on a retreat to work on strategy, organisation and representation. This year, the retreat took place in a small house in Brandenberg, Austria. The views were remarkable and the fresh mountain air certainly helped productivity!

We are proud to introduce a newsletter to help inform and connect doctoral researchers. The first year, I will be responsible for its corporate design and content.

In addition, the N2 survey from the Helmholtz Juniors in 2021 has shed light on a number of pressing matters that we communicate throughout the center and towards management and supervisors to improve doctoral students productivity and wellbeing.

Thanks to Simon, Hannah and Anastasia for a wonderful retreat and I look forward to working together this year!
